MACHINE WASHING CASHMERE
Contrary to popular belief, machine washing is the ideal method for caring for your cashmere.
CERTAIN PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO AVOID UNPLEASANT SURPRISES:
Your machine must have a wool program, at a very low temperature (20 degrees maximum).
A towel on which to lay your cashmere to dry flat.
You should definitely set the spin speed to a maximum of 500 rpm, no more. Also, make sure to separate light colors from dark colors. Wash your cashmeres separately from your other clothes. Do not use a tumble dryer.
Be sure to use a special wool detergent in small doses and especially without fabric softener.
